Watch Ignat Solzhenitsyn’s Lecture on The Red Wheel and Life in Cavendish




On March 29, conductor, pianist and Cavendish resident, Ignat Solzhenitsyn was the speaker at the Vermont Humanities Council’s First Wednesday’s program in Brattleboro. He spoke about how his father Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, while in exile for almost 18 years in Cavendish,  wrote the book The Red Wheel, about Russian and WWI. He also talked about what life was like for him growing up in Vermont. The lecture can be screened on-line
